Sims 3
While working for "Maxis" at Electronic Arts I had the pleasure of working on the "Sims 3 Franchise".
This was my very first VFX gig in the games industry and it was actually due to my curiosity of the FX engine that I became a VFX artist. My background was not a technical one at all. I was originally hired by Maxis as a texture artist. After that I became a character modeler, subsequently becoming an FX artist. I asked a lot of questions, worked my way up, and became the lead VFX artist on the Sims 3 expansion pack team during my last 2 shipped titles in the Sims Division.
